  1. Hey everyone, on behalf of the dev and staff team, I am super happy to announce Meta Plays' launch! We have been slowly getting bits and pieces done over the last 4 years. As you can imagine a lot of blood, sweat and tears have gone into the project, and there is much more to come. Our launch trailer is below. We will support 4 games - Age of Mythology, Halo Wars 2, Starcraft II and Warcraft III, with tournaments being our primary content: Several tournaments together will form seasons (we are aiming for 2 seasons / year) As each tournament completes the players will: Receive cash prizes As part of our launch celebration, we are doing double prizes for Season 1! Gain points towards each games' ladders Earn medals and stats for their profile Depending on your ladder position, you will be placed in a Class, ranging from D to S. Class Split: Total number of players required for S/A class to be full: X=Y*100/Z S - Top Y=8 players by points. Expands for each draw by 1. Z=5 A - Top Y=9-32 players by points. Expands for each draw by 1. Z=10 B - next Z= 25% of the player base. Expands for each draw by 1. C - next Z= 35% of the player base. Expands for each draw by 1. D - the rest. Final ladder placements of the top 4 will be highlighted permanently on the Hall of Fame page. This will be generated when we end the season. Our ladder will be informing seeding decisions where it makes sense for us to do so, for example later on in the season. Each of the games will have their own schedule, but generally follow this convention: Weekend days are tournament days - each event is 1 day, and we alternate between the games Age of Mythology on Saturdays, every 3 weeks Halo Wars 2 on Saturdays, every 3 weeks (the week after Age of Mythology) StarCraft II on week days, every 3 weeks Warcraft III on week days, every 3 weeks (the week after StarCraft II) $300 open launch tournament to kick off the season in each game $100 open mid-season tournaments x6 $300 invitational season finale (top 16? TBD) Every third weekend will be a break to allow staff and players a rest After each season we will take a 2 week break as well No tournaments from mid-December to early January Feel free to sign up to our launch tournaments! Doing so is free - click the images below and the Sign Up button to register! All our tournaments are entirely self-funded but we do accept contributions towards prize pools via donations, and we have Patreon goals to permanently increase the base values listed above. We are also looking for sponsors - please email us at metaplays.official@gmail.com for any queries. These tournaments will all be live streamed on our Twitch, but you will be able to catch up with VoDs on Youtube, too! Community casters are totally welcome to cover the games that are not, by the way! Please reach out to the Manager of each event. We will continue supporting the games with more seasons after our first, so long as participation and viewership are good. Additionally, we are also considering expanding to other games in the future. More on this soon. There is also more work coming up on the tournament system! Initially we will make quality of life improvements for hosts, and then move on to bigger items, such as Smurf Tournament support. For the site as a whole, achievements and leveling are coming soon via Invision's update (the software we use) - we plan to bring all sorts of cool achievement icons and the like to your profiles! Please let us know what you would like to see! Are you a Tournament Host? We are looking to partner with tournament hosts! Your events would contribute to our seasonal leaderboards, so long as you are willing to host via our site. Feel free to submit an application here. Are you a Warcraft III Caster? We are also looking for a Warcraft III caster to join our staff! Feel free to submit an application here. Lastly, a big thank you to the Age of Mythology community, who have tested out at the forums and downloads systems early on. This helped us better understand how to run the site and allowed us to make a lot of improvements. Before you go, make sure to check out our summaries for each games' first season: Age of Mythology - Halo Wars 2 - StarCraft II - Warcraft III

With the help of the incredibly helpful community members Greyshot and Curahee, we are putting down $600 towards the starting prize pool of the event. You can help further increase via our donation page, earning you guaranteed crediting, as well as shiny profile medals, in addition to our eternal gratitude. About Meta Plays and CoH 3 To those of you hearing of us for the first time, we are an esports organization with a community focus for multiple RTS games - chiefly Age of Mythology and Halo Wars 2. We have distributed over $16,000 in event prizes across all our supported games, present and past since our launch in 2021. This has been possible in huge part thanks to the community's generous contributions to event prize pools. With Company of Heroes 3, we are aiming for a similar setup, where we fund a base line of prize pools across events, that the community can then further elevate. We will be closely monitoring the performance of the event in order to decide about whether to commit to Company of Heroes 3 in the long term. To be crystal clear, we are certainly interested, but it needs to make economical sense for us to take on the extra costs. The metrics we will look at to judge the event's performance will include: Average viewership and follower growth on Twitch Average viewership, subscriber growth and watch time on YouTube Number of tournament participants (excluding no-shows) Prize pool donations Community support revenue (website subscriptions, staff tips, Twitch revenue, etc) Discord server growth Depending on the results we will scale our support for the game between the below. We humbly request that you let your friends know that they can help bring more esports events to CoH 3 by simply tuning in! No support: if our event completely misses the mark, we cannot commit to anything Small scale support: a singular open league tier, mostly aimed at pro players Medium scale support: 3 tiered leagues for amateur, rising star and pro players Full scale support: Regular showmatches, plus 3 tiered leagues for amateur, rising star and pro players Note: the above implies that we would implement CoH 3 to make use of our first party tournament hosting and seasonal ladder system, as well as showmatch system. This will take significant development effort, which is why we need to be certain that committing is the right call for us to make. Thank you very much for reading. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments, or reach us on Discord! We'll see you on the battlefield.

  3. Finances - Report for 2022 We decided to start publicly sharing the overall project finances starting now, with the results of last year. The 2022 data is a baseline to compare ourselves against - it was the first complete calendar year of Meta Plays activity. This was still a time where we took major risks and explored unviable spaces like Age of Empires 4 and SpellForce 3, where we were unable to create revenue from the content itself. The majority of income (60%) has been event contributions - of which naturally 100% went directly into the prize pool, offsetting the expenses. Naturally, double expenses compared to income is not a sustainable situation long term, and we will be looking for that gap to be closed over 2023. This is all expected however, considering that we are still developing the website, as well as that new games were not expected to carry their own weight as much as Age of Mythology and Halo Wars 2. Finances - Projection for 2023 The first half of 2023 has already passed, so we have fairly good data to project how 2023 will go if we make no changes. The below charts are the worst case scenario that could happen at the end of the year - we are taking many steps to avoid the stagnant outcomes we project here. With development still being active, turning a profit is not expected, but we will need to close the gap between expenses and income further. Notable positives: Subscription revenue has increased, and optimistically we can project to reach over $1000 for 2023. Thank you very much for the support, this is great progress! We project a 70% increase year over year. Tipping revenue has increased, with an optimistic projection of $400 for 2023. Thanks to your help, we can offer our staff fair payment for their hard work. We project a 40% increase year over year. YouTube revenue has drastically increased, considering that we were not yet monetized in the first half of 2022. We appreciate your viewership, and would encourage more of you to subscribe, as this is the highest quality version of our content (1440p, high bitrate, edited without breaks). We project a massive 200% increase year over year. Twitch revenue has also drastically increased. This stems largely from a larger focus on our core games, Age of Mythology and Halo Wars 2, higher viewership, and most importantly, your support! We project a massive 175% increase year over year. We have also committed more to sponsorships in 2023 so far. After our short break, we will be continuing down this path, and would like to ask for your support and patience in this area, as it's one of our major revenue streams that makes the project possible. We project a 65% increase year over year. Halo Wars 2 prize pool contributions from the community have also increased. Thank you all for your support on this front! This increases the earnings of players, and makes them train harder. We project an increase of up to 70% year over year. The bad news: Unfortunately, this is where the good news end. We have been facing greater costs due to the nature of scaling up the project, such as via more video editing and art required, as well as inflation-induced cost increases. These were not really avoidable, but thanks to our 2 game focus from this point forward, we can expect a slightly more optimistic result than in the charts. Reducing Age of Mythology budget: The greatest negative thus far though is the drop in prize contributions for Age of Mythology. We project a drop of more than 50% year over year. We were expecting to continue the great momentum with Age of Mythology, and so have increased our budget for our leagues this year, but doing so has completely stopped community contributions since our Wisdom of Thoth League was announced. We are not going to be able to maintain doubling our prize pools compared to before, especially if it means that the community contributions stop - it makes no sense for us to do so, considering that the net result for players is the same. We must rely on the community to push our events to the next level. The exact adjustment is to be announced, however we need to make the decision to reduce our Age of Mythology budget until Retold is released. On Retold, we will start out strong to create some great initial competition, but will still be looking towards the community to aid our longevity. Reducing Staffing Budget: Staffing cost has increased this year due to greater revenue in general, as well as due to equipment needs. We project an increase of 33% year over year. Looking at our percentile stagnation when looking at totals (which result in a decline in absolute values), we will need to make an adjustment on this front so as to increase the project's viability. As the current season ends, our current casters will be offered a content partner or moderator position. Future event coverage will be held with optional, invited guest casters, which will be a networking-based slot, as we currently cannot afford paying for this. As we grow and turn profitable, in the long term, we will revisit this stance. Eliminating development costs in 2024: While we are committed to developing the proposed Tier ladder system, as you can see from our charts, development is one of the major cost components of the project. As this work is completed, feature-wise we aim to go into maintenance mode, at least until we turn profitable. We will also consider having a development-related subscription goal. More on this later. Subscription System Updates Our website subscription system is one of our most important revenue streams, seeing as no third party takes a cut (Twitch takes 50%, YouTube takes 30%). This makes our website subscribers our most valued supporters. We want to make sure that you are satisfied with the benefits and that you see them as worthwhile, so we have made some adjustments: All tiers now feature voting rights regarding our events. We will offer several options to subscribers for voting, such as about rule sets, formats and event art themes. Tier 4 and above gets double power. Tier 3 and above now gain ad-hoc game key giveaways. We have updated our goals: We added monthly showmatches for each game. This will unlock once we reach $200/month. We added a mystery goal at the end ($500/month). We have some ideas, and will offer subscribers a chance to vote. Once the mystery goal is unlocked, we will start a second tier of goals. We removed the PayPal fee coverage goal. This was a boring goal. We will stop covering prize pool contribution fees to help the project's finances. See the full current list here: Staffing Update: With us moving away from dedicated casters, we also have decided that this is a good time to review how we function when it comes to management. Going forward, we will have the following roles at Meta Plays: Project Director: Owner of Meta Plays. Handles finances, such as planning, pay-outs or sponsor interaction. Handles development management and decision making. Responsible for coverage of key events. Creates announcement articles. Creates tournament and showmatch listings. Responds to comments across social media. Manages content partner program. Project Manager: Contractor. Recruits and assigns moderators to chat and score reporting management. Collects community feedback. Manages unban requests and internal decision making around them. Syncs with Media Manager about upcoming events and key news. Resolves disputes. Community Manager: Contractor. Handles all matters related to the game they are dedicated to. Must be a well-connected member of the community. Manages tournaments and is in charge of rule enforcement and dispute handling. Directly invites players and content creators to participate in individual events. Directly engages with the community, turning chats into conversations. Encourages the community to share feedback, guides and more. Media Manager: Contractor. Video editor for YouTube purposes. Responsible for social media, sharing events and updates. Developer: Contractor. Working on website features, streaming tools, or art assets. Moderator: Volunteer position. Keeps chat/comment sections clean, handling time-outs and bans together with the other mods and Project Manager. Enters scores in tournaments and showmatches. Approves or rejects reports in the Tier Ladder. Currently we are looking for moderators to join our project. Feel free to apply here, or send a message to @Olvadi or myself directly.

  4. Hey everyone, In the time since launch we have been hard at work on running the tournaments, as well as some minor tournament system improvements (e.g. GSL-style group stages now support byes), but let's talk about the new stuff instead! Achievements & Leveling As part of the latest Invision update (this is the suite the site uses), we are now able to create a profile leveling and achievement system. Our take on this is to have this feel like a game's progression system - most common actions will be giving you XP and increase your progress towards achievements. Each profile level and achievement tier will come with a unique badge created by @PF2K that will be featured in your profile and on the front page like so: Here is a preview of the badges you can unlock (tournament ones are a preview, these are coming in the future). You can expand the spoiler below to reveal the precise details regarding the unlock criteria and XP values. Showmatch Store In addition to tournaments, we also will have a showmatch offering from now on. These will be commission options that you can purchase in our store. 100% of funds will go to players directly. We're doing 4 tiers from $25 (Bo 3) to $200 (Bo 9). All those commissioning showmatches will be placed in the matching "Showmatch Benefactor" group, which come with the same perks as our Subscribers. Except these perks are for life! Additionally, Patrons at the highest levels will receive a free $50 or $100 or $200 showmatch commission (at the $250, $500 and $750 levels respectively). Halo Wars 2 example: Replay Packs We have added downloads categories and portal panels for each game supporting replays, and have also submitted replay packs for our AoM and SC2 tournaments. Furthermore, we are unfortunately cutting support for Age of Mythology replay embedding. Single match uploads are no longer commonly used functionality, and with the rise of Twitch streaming in the last few years, we believe that replay packs are the only "wanted" format going forward. These will make it easier for those looking to do detailed learning from replays, giving access to a large batch of examples with a single download, rather than having to hunt for several, and managing folders manually. Keep your eyes on the Home Page / Game Portal widgets for replay packs! Twitch Affiliate We made it to Twitch Affiliate as quickly as possible (7 streams), thanks to you! In fact, during the Halo Wars 2 stream after this unlock, you subbed and gifted so much that we are almost at the affiliate emote limit already! Sub/bit emotes, bit/sub badges, channel points, predictions & more will be available from now on! Status Updates: We enabled a status update panel on the front page, feel free to share what's on your mind! Future Features in the Future, from the Future: Next up, we will be working on a show match system - something not too dissimilar to our tournament system. Stay tuned! Also let us know what you would like to see from us next in the replies below. That's all for now, we'll see you on the battlefield!

  5. Hey all, We wanted to provide a project update summarizing recent changes we have made, as well as a look into the future. Tournament and Showmatch Medals in Profile While before we used a separate profile page for your tournament stats, we have put in some effort to integrate the medals and tournament ladder rank cards into the main website profile. We have also defaulted to the "overall" setting, which shows your lifetime ranks and medals, rather than just 1 season at a time. The tournaments and Showmatches tabs will only appear on those players' profiles that have participated in our events. This makes the profiles a lot more linkable and interactable, while also providing better SEO. We hope you enjoy this update! Our Struggles with Halo Wars 2 Sign Ups We have recently shared a VLOG on YouTube about our struggles with especially the Halo Wars 2 pro league, where we would receive insufficient sign ups, in strong contrast to Age of Mythology, where a high number of players want to play. The feedback was overwhelmingly leaning in one direction - players want skill-based segregation, more than what we have been offering. Essentially we need something between our Amateur and Pro Leagues - perhaps a "Rising Star League" (feel free to suggest names). This isn't particularly simple to set up, and to ensure that we can make fair decisions about who belongs to which skill bracket, we must develop a system that makes these decisions 100% objective, as opposed to relying on personal decisions by our team (which can easily become sources of frustration). While the above is mostly a Halo Wars 2 problem, we could see our solution move Age of Mythology in a positive direction, too. What is the Tier Ladder? With all this in mind, we would like to propose the Tier Ladder (working name, we are open to suggestions): Players with a Meta Plays account will be able to sign up to a ladder A moderator will determine an initial placement. This can be based on a recent tournament and showmatch result, if available. If the player is not known, a showmatch/duel will be arranged by mods. The tier range will determine which league you will be allowed to participate in: S tier - Pro League players A tier - top Rising Star League players B tier - contending Rising Star League players C tier - new Rising Star League players D tier - top Amateur League players E tier - contending Amateur League players F tier - new Amateur League players Each tier will have a maximum size, with numbers to be determined, and subject to change over time. You can gain better spots in the list by defeating someone above you in a tournament or showmatch. By winning, you will take the spot of the person above you, whereas everyone you skipped past loses 1 spot Bo 5 and above required The event has to be relevant to the Tier Ladder format (2v2 results don't impact a 1v1 ladder etc) Non-Meta Plays events will count as well, but are subject to moderator approval Requesting showmatches is also an option where needed: Subject to moderator approval This avoids spammed requests, or cases where the players will face off in another event soon You may only issue such challenges 1 tier up Your opponent may decline with certain TBD valid reasoning At the highest levels, we, or our content partners may offer coverage and/or prizes on a case-by-case basis If we are not already aware of the event, you will have to self-report the results. Only the most recent result will count. What are the Benefits of the Tier Ladder? We have had a lot of feedback since we started regarding how the tournaments aren't for everyone. We believe the Tier Ladder, and splitting competition into Amateur, Rising Star, and Pro Leagues will service the majority of the competitive community, and offer a maximized number of players the ability to participate. In points: Everyone with a competitive mindset can participate Participants get to have the controlled tournament/showmatch experience that ranked does not offer Everyone gets clear goals to work towards, or maintain Fair play, similarly skilled opponents Separate Prizes for Amateur/Rising Star/Pro League - not just for the best few players in the world We get to work together with other content creators more When can we expect the Tier Ladder's Launch? While development of the official page has not yet started, we are about to begin working on the system. That said, we are discussing testing this with a simpler format, such as a Discord-based list for the moment. Before that though, we'd love to hear what you all have to say, as we have not yet decided on several details and rules. For the moment, we will not commit to a release date, and will run with the classic "it's ready when it's ready". This is all we have for today, but stay tuned - upon the completion of our currently active leagues, we will release a project finance update. Best wishes, The Meta Plays Team

  6. Hi everyone, We are super excited to announce the release of our Showmatch System! You may have seen us running showmatch events before, but we didn't really have a place to store them, so we used news posts as a temporary measure. This changes now as we enter our third season (for our oldest games)! See some examples below for each of our currently supported games. Much like the tournaments, each showmatch will have a permanently saved listing, and a visual structure that is easy to follow. Each match will display factions and maps used, and we'll be able to edit it on the fly as players make their picks or results come in. The same thing, but for Age of Mythology! Age of Empires IV example! SpellForce 3 example! For our listings, we are transitioning to a 16:9 preview image, as opposed to the old 4:1 tournament listings. We have also updated this for tournaments. We can present more information like this, and things will look nicer when you share to social media. One more benefit is that art assets are more reusable - for example, content creators can use listing images as thumbnails. Just like with tournaments, the players will earn medals in their profiles. Showmatch profiles will be totally separate from tournament ones, though, and also track the players' total showmatch winnings and win rate statistics against other players. Of course there is no better way to put this system on display than actually running showmatches! We will hold 2 Promotional Showmatches for each of our supported games! The details and players are still TBD - feel free to make recommendations in the comments! We are looking to make these BO 7 showmatches, same as what you can commission with us! Check out our updated Showmatch Store and commission one you would like to see! All commission funds go to the players, and we will cover the event. We have made 2 changes to our store to increase the value of what you get: Lowered prices (based on what our players recommended was a fair amount) Increased the sizes of the series to reach from Bo 5 to Bo 11 (Note: Age of Empires IV and SpellForce 3 options are also available, but we strongly recommend you target players from our upcoming tournaments to increase the chances of your player picks agreeing to play.) New to Meta Plays: Ideas System Unlike the showmatch system, we can't take credit for this one, as it is a free plugin. Nonetheless, we will be looking forward to collecting your feedback and evaluating your ideas! Simply post your idea and share to get votes. We periodically review and action these. Several have already been actioned as and implemented as you can see below, such as our low level Skirmish Tournaments! Brand New Content Partner Program Content creators that would like to have a closer relationship with us now have a means of doing so! You can apply here. These creators gain several perks, such as full access to our Tournament and Showmatch hosting system and priority slots for casting limited-spectator games in our events, content promotion options, credits listings, and much more. In exchange, these creators offer us shout-outs when covering our content, such as tournaments, and participate in collaborative sponsor deals when they arise. Thus far we have welcomed Boit and AoL_Iron_Maiden as content partners, and we are looking forward to more joining us! You can check out the new Content Partners listing page where we highlight said individuals! Updates to Website Subscriptions and Donations Meta Plays is 100% privately run, and all running and dev costs are accounted for out of pocket. Our project is community-driven, though the right types of sponsorships would be considered by our team. In terms of our brand presence, these are still very much the early days, and so we rely significantly on community contributions. We kept an eye during our first year to see how people like to support our project, and came to these conclusions: Donations to a specific tournament's prize pools are a popular option Twitch subscriptions are moderately popular, despite our limited stream frequency per game Tips for staff are moderately popular as well - thank you for the pizzas! Donations to a broad goal, such as an entire season's prize pools are not popular Website subscriptions affecting all games' prize pools are not popular With these in mind, we have updated our Donation Page to offer options for each tournament, and one for staff tips. Donators also get highlighted in unique groups with badges, scaling based on their contributions. Website Subscriptions are our "Patreon at home". This will now focus on supporting the project. The following changes were made: Removed 3 tiers (9->6). Moved down the majority of former perks by 1 tier. Removed superfluous website perks to make the page easier to read. Introduced some new perks (pick rules for skirmish tournament, 1h coaching) Added subscriber-only news, where we can show off items in development early Instead of boosting tournaments, revenue will be used to cover running costs of the project (see chart below) Donations will be the main way to boost tournaments from now New Staff Page Just like with our Content Partner page, we are now also highlighting the individuals in our staff! Feel free to take a look and follow everyone! Other small changes we made: Removed the per-game home pages due to low usage Removed the per-game themes due to high maintenance cost Revamped the main navigation bar to focus more on Tournaments and Showmatches Future Website Development At the moment we are approaching the point where we feel the website is feature complete. That said, some outliers exist, so we are still going to actively develop for a few months at least. Planned features: Website Donator and Subscriber Leaderboards Discord Sign In Method & Automatic Role Updates Live Stream Notifications for Website Subs and Donations 1 Clan Ownership Limit Per Game Currently the clan feature is hidden until we complete this work. Clan listed in Profile, Tournament sign ups and Ladders Merging Tournament Profiles into the Site Profile Long Term Development Items We May Consider: (Note: these are hugely difficult and expensive systems to develop, and will be entirely dependent on our future success and priorities vs community ideas) Team Showmatch System (our system only supports 1v1) Clan War System (1v1 and Team) Game Support Update New Addition - Age of Empires IV: We have been closely watching the state of Age of Empires IV, and now with a significant amount of quality of life and competitive features added by the developers, we felt it was high time for us to support this community! Linked below: our article announcing our league's Season 1, as well as the first Monthly (open) and Skirmish (Low Elo Legends) Tournaments! Join these ASAP! Returning to Meta Plays - SpellForce 3: We have brought back SpellForce 3 into the fold now that the console versions are released and the game has a significantly increased audience. Our events will be smaller scale than before, but we are committed to building up the competitive community. Linked below: our article announcing our league's Season 2, as well as the first Monthly (open) and Skirmish (Low Elo Legends) Tournaments! Join these ASAP! Renewed for Season 3 - Age of Mythology: We are back with Age of Mythology for another season! Our main events will be on the Extended Edition this season, while Voobly events will be crowdfunded. We are also going to experiment with Team Tournaments! Linked below: our article announcing our league's Season 3, as well as the first Monthly (open) and Skirmish (Low Elo Legends) Tournaments! Join these ASAP! Renewed for Season 3 - Halo Wars 2: We are back with Halo Wars 2 for another season as well! We remain committed to pushing the competitive scene of the game. Linked below: our article announcing our league's Season 3, as well as the first Monthly (open) and Skirmish (Low Elo Legends) Tournaments! Join these ASAP! What about StarCraft II and Warcraft III? We have had to make the difficult decision to shelve both StarCraft II and Warcraft III for now. We feel both games require more budget than we have to generate the viewership and community support we experience in our other games. Perhaps in the future where our project can attract large sponsors, we can revisit these games. For now, we have hidden the site areas related to these games, but we will not be deleting anything. Looking to Support our project or events? The best way to support Meta Plays directly is becoming a subscriber on the website. This is a monthly recurring payment that you get perks for, and help us cover the running costs of the project. You can also increase prize pools of individual tournaments by donating. Where To Watch We will live stream all our events on our Twitch, and VoDs will be available on our YouTube. Be sure to follow/subscribe, it's free! That's all! Let us know what you think in the comments. Also don't forget to join our Discord for real time chats! Thank you for reading, we will see you on the battlefield!

  7. Hey everyone, We are making some minor changes to our tournament system and pages with today's update. Class Changes: The ladder classes have undergone some changes. Our objective was to make the S and A classes stand out more once the ladders grow large, but also to allow them to kick in earlier. The other classes received slight adjustments to account for this. Be sure to check the ladders as the changes are already live! Comparison below. Before: S - Top 5% (but max 8 players) A - Next 10% (but max 24 players) B - Next 25% C - Next 35% D - The rest Now: S - Top 10% (but max 4 players) A - Next 20% (but max 12 players) B - Next 20% C - Next 30% D - The rest Player vs Player Win Rates: Tournament profiles will now be featuring a search box for player win rates. Simply go to someone's tournament profile by clicking their name in ladders or tournament participant list and search for the player to check against. Player Listing Readability: We felt that it was hard to browse the sign up lists and the ladder - there used to be a lot of empty space, and made it so that we can fit significantly more players into a single screen. Comparison below: Before: After:

  8. Hi everyone, Now that we had 1 event of each supported launch game, it is time for us to give content creators access to our media assets. We are doing this in order to help the community produce higher quality, more professional-looking content. If you can credit us in your content when using these, we would appreciate it. The following would be a good way to do so: While the intro videos are our content, created by Ippert (AoM) , Maguro (SC2, WC3), PF2K (Info Panels) and myself(HW2), as a commission for Meta Plays, we will not be chasing people down for not crediting, nor will we be claiming monetized videos, naturally. However, please do not remove the logo branding during the map intro videos. We will be taking action in cases of abuse (e.g. re-branding of the intro clips). By using the clips and the casting tool, you agree to the above. You can integrate these into your streaming app by or downloading them from the below link. From here, we recommend using a unique scene for each of the intros, and switching between them with hotkeys, ideally via a tool like Touch Portal on mobile devices, or physical macro devices, such as the Stream Deck.
