    For a quick installation link for voobly, click this link below! https://www.voobly.com/gamemods/mod/1608/Shake-up-mod-20 Official description below! __________________________________________ Voobly Balance Patch 5.0 based Shake up Version 1.01 Initial Release: 1/1/2022 Map Changes: All maps (Excluding Painted Desert) have 50% more space between forests, to make things harder to wall off (constraints between forest increased by 50%), forests have additional coherence making them abit more smooth and less pointy, and forest sizes are 50% larger. Balance Changes: Global: Age 2 upgrade takes 30 seconds longer, from 60 to 90 seconds. Other age ups remain untouched. Aging up no longer gives free myth units. Portable Siege Tower enabled for all Civs in age 2: Buildable by all infantry/archers and automatons. 300 Hp : 50 Crush Dps : 2.9 speed : 9 los : 4 population : 5 Garrison capacity. 5% hack, 95% pierce, 50% crush armor. Can not attack units, only buildings. Although these towers cost 4 population, because they function as buildings they ignore the population cap. This means you can go above your cap with this unit, and as such a build limit of 5 is applied. Costs 200 W, 100 G. for Egyptians it costs 250 G. Town Centers build 50% slower. (Build points 120 -> 180) Houses and manors pop cap increased from 10 to 12, and 5 to 6. First production buildings are buildable in age 1. Greeks get academy, stable and archery range unlocked, with their respective unit. Egyptians get barracks, with Spearman, axeman and slingers unlocked. Norse get Longhouse, with Ulfsark, throwing axeman, raiding cavalry and Hersir unlocked. Atty gets Military Barracks with Murmillo unlocked, and counter barracks with turma, katapeltes and cheiroballista unlocked. All villagers hack damage reduced by 25%. Age 1 Military units get a -60% damage and -10% speed multiplier. Ranged units get a -60% range multiplier also. These stats get restored on age 2. Norse units get their age 1 damage increased from -70% to -60%, and do not suffer from movement speed penalties like the other civs. QoL: Herdable HP reduced by 75%. Villager Ranged accuracy is now 100%.

  6. Further updated the forests, also made the mod downloadable from the now added mod page. will close this topic and move any discussion on it to that topic.
  7. Updated the mod and the changelog to say the forest avoiding constraint now works properly, and has been massively increased to 50% larger constraints.
  8. Hi guys, Posting this topic here because im feeling like AoM is pretty stale in the meta at the moment, and could use some drastic changes. These changes are designed around promoting earlier agression, and punishing more boomy plays overall. I think they would be a very fun starting point of a new AoM meta. If the changes are actually somewhat balanced we will have to find out, but if theres any ideas or issues with the changelog, let me know so we can think on things and improve them!   10. Sup guys, just wanted to make a quick topic about the meta on voobly right now. General tier list below (can change over time) 1v1s only, not TGs. Tier 1: Zeus/Ra/Set/Odin/Oranos Tier 2: Hades/Poseidon/Isis/Kronos Tier 3: Thor/Gaia/Loki Odin is a big upset right now, i personally think he is very good vs greeks and attys ofcourse, even zeus, but his matchup against anubis struggles alot. Curious to hear other people's input.

  12. sure shes not tier 1 god but i dont think shes that bad vs isis and ra thor/odin on low hunt/water is often favorable aswell, and on medit gaia is killer against all norse. arguably odin on 3.0 voobly patch is abit harder for gaia, but in a general sense its not that bad
  13. You mean like, build order? Overall, maps outside of the standard 10 arent really played, thus not considered for balance. The meta for chinese build order isnt really explored deep yet, but u can generally aim for a 4:30 advance with 1 garden, going through huang di most of the time. May be abit difficult and turn it into a 4:45 on a low hunt map. Maps that favor Fu Xi, are water maps, aswell as high herdable maps such as oasis and ghostlake from what i find so far.

  18. Hey man, welcome to the forums good to see you here, your advanced editor is been my longest subscribed mod so far

Its indeed extremely difficult to deal with. what i like to do is play it like you would vs an athena rush, so wall chip your towers and try to raid him as much as possible get a decent heroic timing with skadi, and push for your 2nd goldmine. if you can pick off enough vills with your raiding you should be in the clear.
  20. i think volleymode is just so that the arrows shot at the same time, dont follow the same trajectory than the first. also secondary shots (or more) do not follow track rating, and as such much more often just miss. (a tc with 10/10 tracking always misses 1 of the arrows on a moving target)
  21. ye it is, i adressed this in the balance mod by reducing the fire lance base speed from 4 to 3.6
  22. Probably, as fire lances are technically classed as siege units (unlike destroyers)
  23. TrackRating defines up to x speed the target can be hit normally, if the track rating is lower than the units movement speed, it will be a 100% miss. Accuracy is abit shady of a topic, i think its got something to do with the first initial (highest chances to miss) shots. something like priests with max accuracy will never miss (aside from track rating). Maybe calli knows more? who knows eh what im most curious about is aim bonus, truely have no idea what that really does.
