It only "mines" the meta. And for that, I am grateful Ensemble Studios had included AQ into AoT, because, the macro-meta is clearly undeniable. The reader can: Follow their gatekeepers and let the game rot from the same, core ideas plaguing the playerbase (AoT). Or allow for a game that rests solely on the player to make the best, prioritized decisions on a small, randomized map - an organic RTS.
