SylvainRegnier Posted yesterday at 11:37 AM Posted yesterday at 11:37 AM Hello, everyone ! AoM is clearly one of my childhood games, one of the only soothing yet stimulating RTS that I know. Its game flow, but also its OST and the way its mellow tracks slowly let place to a more dynamic one as a game progresses helps a lot to convey that feeling. I’m working on an animated series using the software gacha club, using epic fantasy to teach viewers about military strategies. I really want to capture the vibe of AoM mellow tracks using instruments from feudal Europe, and keep at it since one year, but still struggles to reach that feeling of “relaxed focus” I have while hearing those, people describing my musics more like “eery” or “creepy”, even ! I don’t really know what I can do to progress at that point(while keeping it in my budget). Still, I don’t intend to give up. So I’m asking around to hear from other players that knows those songs very well, too. Does anyone here have any idea how to..well, if I may use such a reference, hope for real betterness ? Here’s my latest track. Just three more and I’ll have enough for a first season(I intend to use Roll for fantasy tracks and copyright-free bardcore on Youtube too, thank you Hildegard von Brigin). Any feedback is welcome ! :D   Quote
